The Step By Step Dance Studio "Company" is a community-based, not-for-profit dance troupe comprised of our advanced students. It is a tuition free program, open to all dancers grades 8 and above. Auditions are required due to limited space. 

 

This group brings the art of dance, and service to our community through dance performances, food drives, and other community events. 

 

Our company dancers embody what the studio stands for: Kindness, Positivity, and Dancing From The Heart.

Criteria for prospective company members include:

​

• Application submission no later than October 1, 2023

• Currently in the eighth grade or higher

• Team Player, Dedicated, and Kind

• Positive role model to all SBS students and our community

• Available to attend ALL rehearsals, appearances, and community events

• Ability to pick up choreography quickly and promptly

• If accepted dancer must enroll in the following classes no later than November 1st: Jazz, Tap, and Ballet (For the 2023-2024 dance season), Technique or Contemporary class can sub for ballet.

Auditions for the 2023-2024 season will be taking place in the Fall 2023.
